Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, EA, Criterion Games, Stellar Games release date November Nintendo Switch Xbox One PlayStation 4 PC

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered has been officially revealed and launches next calendar month. EA, Criterion Games, and remaster studio Stellar Games have declared that the revamp of the 2010 classic is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One connected Nov. 6 and Nintendo Switch a week later on Nov. 13. Comfort copies of the game will cost $39.99, while it will cost $29.99 on PC. A cutesy reveal trailer accompanied today's announcement.

Ea and Criterion indicate that the remaster will include thwartwise-platform multiplayer and Autolog, enhanced visuals, all the main DLC, and more. New achievements, car colours, wraps, an updated photo mood, and other quality-of-life improvements are in this fres version of the game too.

It's surreal the original Need for Speed: Torrid Following was released by Criterion a decade ago already. The studio developed three titles for the series — Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, and (with Ghost Games) Need for Speed: Rivals — before the franchise was fully handed finished to Ghost Games. Afterward Trace launched Need for Speed Heating system in 2019, Ea announced that Touchstone will be overseeing the series waving forrard. The last update on the publisher's classic racing gritty series came this past June when EA aforesaid that the incoming entry is in its planning phase.
